Frequent water leakage can quickly turn a basement into a worry zone, increasing the risk of mold and unhealthy conditions. That was the situation this East Peoria, IL homeowner was facing first hand. To resolve these issues, we installed our reliable WaterGuard system to channel leaks to the TripleSafe sump pump, ensuring quick and effective water removal. Combined with CleanSpace, this transformed the basement into a dry, healthy space, now ideal for storage or entertainment, reflecting our family-owned dedication to safe and healthy homes for everyone.
Who knew a basement could double as a swimming pool? In the "before" photo, you’ll see why this homeowner in Sterling, IL, was keen to call us—they were dealing with an Olympic-sized water nuisance, thanks to leaking drywall and a persistently damp foundation.
Our team, led by Salesman Andrew Sagar and Foreman Jacob Oetzman, stepped in to turn the tide. Our waterproofing experts worked their magic using a powerhouse combination of:
WaterGuard: To catch seepage at the source.
TripleSafe Sump Pump: For ultimate peace of mind and backup protection.
CleanSpace: To seal out moisture and brighten the space.
The "after" photo tells a completely different story. With the water hazard officially cleared, this basement is finally ready for a fresh coat of paint and maybe even a pool table—the kind that stays dry.
Joe and Trysten of Morton, IL contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems because they were concerned about their bowing basement wall. They met with design specialist Dan Garner, who suggested CarbonArmor to stabilize the wall. Dan also recommended Basement to Beautiful Panels to insulate the space, and give Joe and Trysten an opportunity to finish the space. The first picture shows Carbon Armor, and the second shows Basement to Beautiful.
Kevin, a Morton homeowner, called MidAmerica Basement Systems with concerns about his damp basement. Kevin met with design specialist Dan Garner, and Dan created a custom solution for Kevin's wet basement. The solution included full perimeter WaterGuard, CleanSpace Liner, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. Foreman Kyle McCarty and his team installed the system, and now the basement is finally dry!
The old sump pump pictured is unreliable, susceptible to problems sure to give the homeowner a run for their money. Instead of battling with the old sump pump, the homeowners called MidAmerica Basement Systems and had the SuperSump installed in it's stead. The SuperPump comes with an airtight lid, airtight drain system, cast iron zoeller pump, and the WaterWatch alarm system designed to act as a flood preventative measure.
With the patented SuperSump, the homeowner has more assurance and confidence than before with the old sump pump.
