As a result, WaterGuard (drainage tile system) was installed around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard has a small gap at the top of the product that allows water to run down the wall and into the drain tile. Water that enters the drainage system is than directed to the sump pump where it is properly discharged from the home.
