When our customer from Moline, IL, discovered water creeping into her newly purchased home's crawl space, she knew immediate action was needed. Terry wanted his space to be cleared of debris and he wanted the space to be insulated. The MidAmerica Basement Systems team did all the above and more!

The crawl space before is cold, dark, uncomfortable, and layered with debris. The team cleaned the space by removing all of the debris and then they insulated the walls with SilverGlo. SilverGlo is a foil backed foam insulation that is infused with graphite. The SilverGlo is specially designed to keep heat from escaping the space, and outside air from entering making the space warm and saving the homeowner a bundle on utility bills.

We then installed drainage matting. The drainage matting has dimples allowing rising ground water to flow underneath the CleanSpace liner. The space is then fitted with CleanSpace liner. CleanSpace finishes the sealing process with a thick, durable, flexible plastic that has an antimicrobial additive making it mold resistant. All of the materials used are inorganic meaning that it is least likely to deteriorate and/or become a yummy meal for mold.
